Frequently Asked Questions
Low cost counselling is therapy provided by a counsellor-in-training who is completing their final clinical internship as part of a Master’s degree in counselling. Sessions are offered at a reduced rate while still meeting professional and ethical standards.
Yes. Counsellors-in-training have completed most of their education and clinical training. They also receive ongoing supervision from a registered clinical counsellor who reviews their work and ensures high-quality care.
Absolutely. Many clients find low cost therapy just as helpful as standard counselling. Because sessions are more affordable, clients often attend more consistently, which supports deeper progress and long-term change.
In addition to low cost counselling, Charting Pathways offers a range of professional counselling services to support individuals and couples with different needs and coverage options. Our services include individual counselling, couples counselling, ICBC counselling, CVAP counselling, and BCEHS counselling. This allows clients to access therapy through private pay, insurance-based programs, or specialized funding, depending on their situation.
