How the Program Can Help
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) in British Columbia is a crucial resource designed to support individuals who have experienced crime-related trauma. This program offers financial assistance to victims of crime, their immediate family members, and in some cases, witnesses, to ensure they can access the support they need. CVAP coverage provides a pre-determined number of counseling sessions to help survivors navigate their healing journey.
At Charting Pathways, we specialize in supporting survivors of trauma through our team of highly skilled counsellors.
Our counsellors are deeply trained in trauma-informed care and have extensive experience working with individuals who have faced a wide range of traumatic events, including physical assault, sexual violence, domestic abuse, and other life-altering experiences. We understand the unique needs of those impacted by crime and offer a compassionate, empathetic approach to help clients rebuild their lives.
