As someone that was adopted and moved to Canada, I have a deep understanding of challenges associated with life transitions, adapting to a new culture and adoption. My personal experiences have led me to working with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, identity issues, depression, low self-esteem/confidence, feeling lost and/or lacking self-love, and detachment.
In the past, I have had the opportunity to work with women experiencing various issues from childhood trauma, cultural issues, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. I also worked with couples dealing with different challenges, such as navigating dyanamics of polyamorous relationships communication breakdowns, infidelity, and lack of intimacy. My experience in these areas have opened my awareness to people's struggles, the need to learn more about themselves, and the desire to gain a deeper sense of their purpose and identity.
In my personal life, I am a visual artist. I enjoy travelling and exhibiting my work. You can find me chasing the sun, tropical beaches and seafood. I truly believe laughter is the best medicine! I am in the middle of writing my life story, which talks about my childhood and family in Malawi and then being adopted by my Canadian father/family and moving to Canada. I am finding it exciting to write!
